Gather The Memories:
The first step of creating such a book is to gather the memories. So, talk to friends and family and get them to send their favorite photos and recipes to you. Then, combine them to tell a story of cooking, eating and fun.
If you need more recipes, you should definitely get your friends and family together and have them tell you their favorites. In fact, you could even have a family cooking contest and include the winning recipes and photographs of the winners in the book.
Stories Make The Memories:
Remember that stories make the memories. So, you shouldn't just include photos or recipes. You should also include the stories behind them. When and how were the recipes creates? What was a favorite occasion on which the family enjoyed a particular recipe? Are there any stories associated with the recipe? Including all of those things in the book will help future generations to not just enjoy it, but also understand it.
Gift Giving:
Finally, gift giving is something that everyone loves. Recipe photo books make great, unique gifts, even for those people who “have everything”. So, you can give them to family and friends for no reason at all, or you can give them on special occasions. You can even start a photo book and give it to a couple who is just getting married so that they can expand on it.
